Today, there are going to be hundreds of us in Disney's California Adventure, competing against each other to see who can ride the most rides in a day. But this year, there's an added twist! The Gumball Rally this year is a MURDER MYSTERY! What does that mean? Well, as I write this, I'm not 100% sure! One cool thing about the Gumball Rally is that it's a little different each year. And this year, they're doing something that has never been done before as we are trying to solve some type of murder mystery while gathering clues along the way.

You can also follow along the official Micechat Gumball Rally Instagram account to see all the teams as they post throughout the day. At least, we think we'll be able to post throughout the day. One year, there was a twist where we couldn't use our phones at all throughout the day. We never know the exact rules until the day of the actual race when we'll review any special rules for the day.
If you see us out in the park today, say hi and let's take a picture together! But please, don't offer us any help! One strict rule is NO HELP from anyone - we're all racing each other and we want to make sure the game is fair!
This is my and Yin's 5th time running the race, and we're looking to win it this year! Of course, we're looking to win it every year, so we'll see how it goes! Our team this year is The Great Mouse DeFectives! We'll be dressed up like a couple mouse detectives as we run around the park this year.
This year we're lucky to have my son Tyler, along with his girlfriend Hannah on a team (Only Murders in the Park), as well as my daughter Briana with her husband Riley (The Mysterious Mice). We're looking forward to having a great day!
