In 1911, the Disney family moved to Kansas City, Missouri where Roy and Walt delivered Kansas City Star newspapers for their fathers distributorship. Roy and Walt would wake up at 3:30 a.m, seven days a week to deliver newspapers before heading to grammar school. The boys weren't paid and Walt often said he had nightmares about walking up to his neck in snow while delivering the newspapers.
