Thirty years after its theatrical release, the beloved voice talents of Disney Legend Bill Farmer (Goofy) and Jason Marsden (Max Goofy) from the 1995 Disney classic, A Goofy Movie, come together in an all-new video to celebrate and reminisce about their experiences making the movie. A Goofy Movie was released 30 years ago today, on April 7, 1995. In On the Road Again: A Goofy Movie 30th Anniversary, Farmer and Marsden hit the road in a reimagined AMC Pacer based on the car featured in the film and interview each other about their memories from the films creation.
A Goofy Movie featured Goofy and his teenage son, Max. The story follows Maw, who's eager to impress his crush, Roxanne, and fit in with his peers, while Goofy plans a father-son road trip to bond before Max heads off to college. Their conflicting goals lead to a series of comedic misadventures, including a detour to a possum-themed amusement park and an unexpected stop at a big concert featuring the pop star Powerline. The movie blends slapstick humor with heartfelt moments, exploring themes of family, independence, and understanding. It's a standalone sequel to the Goof Troop TV series and has since gained a cult following for its catchy soundtrack, including songs like "Stand Out" and I2I."
